I was referred to OBGYN and somehow scheduled with oncology. Big error and inconvenient for me and now I have to wait for another referral for the correct specialist to schedule me. I have been in pain since December. The oncologist was very sympathetic to the situation. Needless to say we were both very disappointed.

Dr Duran cares about her patients deeply. She gave me the same advice my daughter gave me a month ago. Get up slowly so as not to fall on my head. It's worked so far.. the iron she has given me makes all the difference in how I feel. She watches me closely. It's very important in my situation.

Dr Duran is not as knowledgeable as Dr Esparzs said she was. I ask her a question and she printed a bunch of papers and info from the internet .She stares and there silence which makes it feel award. My son feels the same way!

She is an easy person to talk to, very caring

Unfortunately this doctor had no information. She blamed that fact on others. But she is the oncologist she should have been on her game and had everything she needed to help us. She made us wait 30 to 40 minutes to only spend five minutes telling us she didn’t know anything. Again blaming everyone else. She gave us a lot of conflicting information from what information we received from Gonzaba‘s primary. Not only that but the front door person was very rude and angry and escalated feelings. And the receptionist as nice as she was was inept kept asking the same question over and over your phone number your name etc. Very poor overall service. I am going to go with another oncologist at Texas oncology.

I began seeing Dr. Durham because I had problems with my blood platelets. They were very low. Since seeing Dr. Durham she has provided me with medication that improved my blood count. There is no longer any issues with my blood platelets thanks to Dr. Durham.

Dr Duran diagnosed me with cancer. Obviously I was taken back, my life will soon be over; but, she quickly and calmly spoke to me about the type of cancer I have and it was not active so there was nothing she could do at this time. But, she said, it is not going away. Dr Duran said When I do develop symptoms it is treatable. I am an older patient with a very young doctor who answers all questions and concerns that I have. I am blessed to have Dr Duran as my doctor.
