Dr Lawton is at the top of his game. He has great experience, is very thorough, and is a great surgeon.

He is by far the best Dr for a sport injury! He has such knowledge about my son’s injuries I wouldn’t want to see anyone else!

I didn’t actually get to see dr Lawton( who I’ve normally seen) I saw his pa who was super informal and short … I felt a little lost he came in for 3 minutes said he’d submit for knee injections and then said they’d call when they got approved

I didn't even get to see the doctor just the PA. Felt rushed the whole time. Waited for 1 hour to even get an exam but only spend 2 mins with the PA. Was supposed to get a note for work but they never came back with it. Just the lady with my mri referral. No answers on what is going on with my knee.

Dr. Lawton was very precise and very good explain things very clearly to me. However we waited an hour for an appointment. Some thing that has never happened before at Ortho Illinois. Very disappointed understand that things can happen but we were called twice into x-rays which I did not need had an x-ray the week before and an MRI a few days before where we got the diagnosis I was there to see Dr. Lawton for the diagnosis that had already happened and what we could do about it not to have another x-ray so things were very confusing. Everybody seemed out of sync, but overall we were very happy with the doctor

Really like Dr. Lawton. One suggestion. I brought in the sling he gave me post-surgery. It was perfect condition, but procedure is to not reuse. I get it that reusing presents issues, but not reusing is wasteful, and contributes to a larger problem with medical care - expense side. There really is no reason not to reuse items like slings. Besides that issue, which is bigger than Dr. Lawton, I am grateful for his care.

Dr. Lawton identified my hip issue, and tried all other options before jumping to surgery. Ultimately I required surgery. He and his team did a great job preparing me for surgery and my after care. Dr. Lawton did a fantastic job on my repairs and I would highly recommend him.

My appointment was at 9:30am and I was never seen. Got there at 9:05am. Was told at my scheduled appointment time that there were 2 people ahead of me. Ended up leaving at 10:10am with out being seen. I was referred by Dr. Mox. This was to be my first time meeting Dr. lawton to schedule a surgery Date. This was a bad experience. And no one even was able To reschedule an appointment.

When Dr. Lawton came in he started out by moving my arms around to determine where the pain was.
