Dr Sharpe was professional and personable. In Post Appt he explained what he did and what he found. Showed pictures of my knee too. After 10 days I was able to walk and go up and down steps fairly normal without much pain. Very tolerable. Recovery is happening a lot faster than I thought.

We discussed the pros and cons of my current condition, now that I’ve completed physical therapy, doctor Sharpe put me through various exercises to test the strength of my right shoulder and he concluded that, at this writing, he recommends continuing with the at home exercises I was given by my PT 3-5 times a week. We then talked about the time I would have to wear a sling (6-8 weeks) and rehab with physical therapy (6-10 weeks) and then agreed that the option for surgery could w fewer, and as needed, I would reach out to him to further evaluate our options. I was very impressed with the entire experience.

My employers HR professional, in coordination with our insurance broker, their interaction with BCBS customer service professionals as well as my own lengthy interaction with BCBS professionals reached the conclusion that because Dr. Sharpe and Midwest Orthopedics was in my network, that the procedure was approved, and because in my individual policy I have 0 deducatble, the only fee collected today should have been my appointment copy, Instead, I was charged 5 times that amount. When I brought this up to your check in staff, I was told that I had the option of paying the higher amount or "rescheduling the appointment." I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau and inform them that while the physicians at Midwest Orthopedics are excellent, their customer service leaves a tremendous amount to be desired.

Dr. Sharpe is a super nice guy. He put my knee back together a few months back after shattering it into 6 pieces. While the recovery process is very hard and painful I can talk with him openly about what is going on because I know he cares.

Was very knowledgeable and was very helpful on deciding next steps on whats best for me to do with level of activity wanting in future regarding injury. Gave me advice on what I can do before surgery and laying out steps for after potential surgery.

Fantastic doctor. I tore my acl and had it reconstructed with him. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions before and after the surgery. The surgery went well and with physical therapy my knee has been improving very quickly
